I-movie vs. Premier? Everyone I know says Adobe Premiere! Today in class we had two professionals give us a three hour workshop of Adobe Premiere! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to listen to the entire presentation because as editor of The Break, I had to make sure that all of the articles were posted and that the weekly newsletter was sent. To do this, I had to learn about HTML... It's name makes it sound harder than what it really is. Yes, HTML is a tedious job I realized, but it doesn't require much thinking. It's basically copy and pasting the weekly articles into a format that has been predesigned! P.S. Check out the two articles that I wrote this week ------------> | Articles of the week: 1. First Water Generating Billboard in the World 2. Tips: Need a Boost of Inspiration |
The first half of the day was very productive, but the second half of the day was very sad, because we had to say bye to Sara who is moving to Guatemala.
Cadena! If you're reading this, I just wanted to say that you have been such an asset to the Innovation Academy. And ever since I met you in fourth grade, you have been an amazing friend! You are always on top of things, your caring, genuine, hardworking, and compassionate.
I'll always remember Injury day at the beach, when I got stung by a bee for the first time, when I crashed into you with my bike, and when we went to the nurse at Playa Blanca. Or the time when we had a laugh attack in the library because you would peek up from behind the book shelf and yell "Dumbledore!".
Thank you so much for the awesome shirts you made for the innovation academy, thank you for always being willing to help, and thank you for being an amazing friend. I wish you the best of luck in Guatemala Cadena! And remember, you'll always be part of the Innovation Academy to us!
