Starting Blendz has made me realize that although a business's main priority should be to offer great customer attention, this is often overridden by other influential factors--the product development, financial accounting, employee productivity, and marketing--that determine a business's success. The worst is that when you compare the size of Blendz to the size of a company as prestigious and innovative as Apple, you can only stop to imagine the amount of planning, collaboration, time, and proper delegation that goes into running a business at such a large scale.
marketing the event; all of these things are just a snapshot into a day worth of selling. And although our Halloween sale was a success, the amount of work and time that we put into ensuring it was a success has led me to question the feasibility of doing this every Thursday, and more so, the feasibility of doing this every day in the future.
